Country Care Manor opened its doors in August of 1991, originally founded and owned by Dr. Millington and his son, Mike. In August of 2002, Care Inn Properties, Inc. purchased Country Care Manor in an effort to continue leading the way in providing premier long-term care for elders in the Southwest and beyond. Just a few months later in December 2002, Country Care Manor became a Medicare participant. Today we are offer services for Medicare, Medicaid, Hospice and private pay residents, making it easy for all interested senior community members to reside here. In the spring of 2005, Care Inn Properties, Inc. changed its name to Touchstone Communities, and Country Care Manor became known as a Touchstone Community. We offer a full range of activities for our residents and enjoy the services of many volunteers from the community. We work hard to be sure the community at large has an opportunity to interact and provide programs for our residents. We host an annual July 4th celebration and now hold bi-monthly blood drives. Just a couple of examples of our valued “country living” and personal caring spirit.
